PROVENANCE

Three materials, three places.

Considered at every step.

Innsbruck

Austrian Crystal

Cut in the same Austrian region that has supplied jewellery houses for over a century. Selected for clarity, brilliance, and the way light behaves inside each facet.
East Sea / Korea

Mother-of-Pearl

Drawn from shells along the Korean coastline — where light enters the surface and refuses to leave. Hand-cut, then individually polished.
Seoul

Hand-finishing

Every piece in the maison passes through one set of hands in Seoul before it leaves the workshop. The finish is what tells the difference between a product and an object.
Vocabulary

Words spoken inside the house.

A small dictionary, kept on the wall of the workshop.
beot
cherry blossom
자개
jagae
mother-of-pearl
ip
leaf
yeon
traditional kite

There is a small, quiet pleasure in how these arrive — wrapped in paper, named in two languages. The Korean labels feel like a confidence rather than a marketing decision.

I bought the Cherry Atelier on a whim. Three months later I am still thinking about how restrained the whole experience was — from the website, to the package, to the object itself.

Most of what I order is hidden in a drawer until I am ready to use it. The LittleMuse box stays on the dresser. The pieces feel like jewellery for a place that does not yet exist.
